• For normal detox, take 3 oz. of tea three times per day. Continue for two weeks minimum.
• Be sure to drink plenty of clean, pure water during your detox.
• It's OK to take supplements along with the essiac at the same time.
• Try to eat organic, natural foods during your detox. Lean more toward fresh fruits and vegetables and less toward meats and heavy fats.
• Most importantly - be sure to take essiac on an empty stomach. Avoid food up to 1 hr. after your essiac dose and 2 hours before your essiac dose. Black coffee and tea are fine, as are natural fruit juices (pure juice only, not smoothies with the fiber included).
• If you're dealing with removing a lifetime of toxins, we recommend staying on essiac for six months to detox. If you have been doing essiac all along, you might be OK just doing sets of 2-week detox periods followed by breaks as long as you are happy with your health.
