Essiac tea isn't complicated to make - but there are a few essiac tea supplies that are essential to have on hand. The good news is, many people already own these items! However, check our our suggestions if you have a little shopping to do.
Here is a stainless steel pot we recommend for brewing essiac tea. This type of pot will allow for a good brew free of chemicals or other unwanted substances.
This is a pitcher we recommend due to it's properties which include the materials it's made from as well as the option to open the top of the pitcher easily.
If you prefer to use glass pitchers, most of them are 64 oz. so just know that you'll need two to hold a gallon of essiac.
We also suggest stirring your essiac with a large wooden spoon before pouring each dose so that some of the powdered herbs make it into each dose that you pour. You also might need one to drape over the top of the pot to prevent boiling over. Here is one that we love:
If you order bulk herbs or don't use a whole packet at once for some reason, a kitchen scale will help ensure that you use the correct amount. Using measuring cups won't be exactly accurate due to the way the herbs can settle during transport or over time.
