Essiac Ordering Guide

The first step in choosing how much essiac you need is to answer the following question:

1. Do you have, or do you suspect you have, cancer or another major health problem?

If your answer is yes, we recommend that you take the aggressive dose (9 oz. of tea per day). If your answer is no, we recommend that you take the maintenance dose (3 oz. of tea per day). Click on the link to learn more about choosing which essiac tea dosage you need.

OK--now that you know the difference between the aggressive dose and the maintenance dose, you can decide which you will plan to take. Remember this, because you will need to know which dose you plan to take when choosing your order size.

Next, you need to decide whether you'd like the most economical option, or the most convenient one:

Option 1. If you'd like the most economical choice, order a "bulk" package of essiac herbs. You pay less because you'll take the responsiblity of weighing out 4 oz. of the essiac herbs when you brew the tea every 2 weeks.

A small kitchen scale works well to weigh the herbs*: 4 oz. or 113 grams is how much you'll need to brew 1 gallon of tea. Kitchen scales can be purchased at many retail stores for around $20.00. One gallon of essiac tea will last two weeks for a person taking the aggressive dose tea. You'll need to weigh 1 oz. or 28 grams of herbs to brew 1 quart of tea, which will last 10-11 days for a person taking the maintenance dose of essiac tea.

*The correct amount of herbs can be estimated with a measuring cup. The amounts are listed in the instructions that will come with your order.

Option 2. If you'd like the most convenient and easy option for preparing 1 gallon of tea at a time, but still a more economical option, order the "pre-measured" 4-oz. packets of essiac herbs. Each 4 oz. packet is factory sealed and unlabeled. Each packet contains just the right amount of herbs to use when brewing a gallon of essiac tea. All you need to do is boil the water and empty one of the packets into the pot--no measuring required!
